Admiral George B. Rodney was a brilliant naval strategist, gambler, and unscrupulous collector of the spoils of war. He will forever be remembered as the admiral who broke the French line at the Battle of Les Saintes (April 9-12, 1782), marking the Caribbean with a British heritage. Admiral Rodney's rums pay homage to this famous naval battle. They celebrate the courage and bravery of the British sailors who "broke the line" and defeated the French fleet.
TASTING NOTES:
Color : bright amber.
Nose : plums, raisins, toasted oak and tropical spices.
Mouth : Intense mouthfeel of sweet sultana fruit, tobacco and chocolate, with oak vanilla.
Finish: Complex with sweet fruits, caramel and spices.
